No, SACAP must do an evaluation of your application and assign a registration number before your registration is completed.  You will receive an e-mail, confirming your registration, date of registration and registration number once your registration has been finalised.

Certificates as generated are valid for a period of 5 years; however, the architect’s membership must be renewed annually by paying an annual fee. Failure to renew membership may result in the cancellation of the architect’s membership. The answer, therefore, is NO, the architect is not in good standing, and the plans should not be accepted.
