Yes. They must be registered and in good standing.

Voluntary Associations are approved to validate and monitor Category 1 CPD activities offered  by providers who have not been approved in terms of these rules. This includes allocating appropriate points to such activities.

Please contact the SACAP recognized voluntary associations and enquire on validation on your events for CPD points.

a.     No, a person applying for Re-registration will be re-registered in the same category that they were registered in at the time of removal.

b.     If the person however obtained a further academic qualification during the time that he/she was removed, they will be able to apply for an upgrade after being re-registered. Please refer and upgrade related queries to registration department at info@sacapsa.com

The online system will create an invoice, giving the amount payable, SACAP’s banking details as well as the reference number to be used when making the payment.

No, if an architectural professional is found guilty of improper conduct, SACAP has the authority to impose sanctions as prescribed by the Architectural Profession Act only. SACAP has no authority to instruct an architectural professional to refund you. Should you wish to recover monies paid to the architectural professional, you may approach the Small Claims Court or any other court with relevant jurisdiction.
