  The 3rd Edition of SANS 10400-XA (2026) introduces the latest requirements for energy usage in buildings and compliance with South Africa's National Building Regulations. While the revised Standard aims to provide greater clarity, its practical application requires a thorough understanding of the updated provisions and compliance pathways.

This comprehensive course will provide a detailed explanation of the key elements of the Standard and guide delegates through the latest compliance requirements. The SABS tables required to complete the practical exercises will be provided during the course.

The presentation also includes comprehensive Excel templates designed to assist architectural professionals with the fenestration specification process and other key calculations required for compliance.

This is a full-day educational course accredited for 1.0 CPD Category 1. Delegates are not required to purchase a copy of SANS 10400-XA (3rd Edition, 2026) before attending, although having access to the Standard during the course will be beneficial.

Registered professionals may download the National Building Regulations through their SACAP profile.
