The
South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) invites
architectural graduates with more than 5 years of experience in architectural
practice who have not yet registered as candidates since obtaining their
architectural qualifications at SACAP accredited Architectural Learning Sites.
These graduates are invited to register for the Special Candidacy Exemption.
This process is an opportunity for first-time graduates to register with SACAP
and present their 5 years of experience in a portfolio of evidence to a panel
of assessors. The process is as per below;
Step 1
a)
Administration
fee (R1 618.00 VAT Included).

Certified
copy of ID document/passport
c)
Certified
copy of Qualifications
d) CV indicating years of architectural experience.
Step
2
1.
Submission
of a Portfolio of evidence (5 projects)

Interview
(Assessment Panel)
3. Assessment fee (R 3 556.00 VAT included).
(If Step 2 is successful)
Step 3
1. Enrol for PPE
2. PPE fee is:
R2 934.00 VAT included
3. PPE re-write is allowed in case an applicant fails.
4. Professional Registration fee is R2 802.00 VAT included
