SACAP Celebrates Excellence at PPE Top Achievers and Bursary Awards Ceremony
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) proudly hosted the Professional Practice Examination (PPE) Top Achievers and Bursary Awards Ceremony, recognising exceptional performance in the PPE and reaffirming its commitment to nurturing and developing the next generation of architectural professionals.
The ceremony honoured candidates who demonstrated exceptional achievement in the PPE, a key milestone in the pathway to professional registration. Their success reflects the high standards of competence, dedication, and ethical responsibility required within the architectural profession.
In addition to celebrating top achievers, SACAP recognised underprivileged bursary recipients who continue to demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to the architectural profession. Through its bursary programme, SACAP seeks to expand access to architectural education and support the transformation and sustainability of the profession in South Africa.
Speaking at the event, SACAP President, Mr Charles Nduku, emphasised the importance of nurturing emerging professionals and removing barriers to entry, particularly for talented students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. The Council reiterated that investing in education and professional development is essential to strengthening the country’s architectural capacity and supporting quality outcomes in the profession
The ceremony formed part of SACAP’s broader mandate to promote excellence, uphold professional standards, and build a resilient, future-ready architectural profession. SACAP congratulates all award recipients and bursary beneficiaries and encourages them to continue striving for innovation, integrity, and leadership in their professional journeys.
