Identification of Work (IDoW) for the Architectural Profession Policy
We wish to advise all registered professionals that whenever you are required or appointed to prepare as- built drawings solely for informational or record purposes, and not for municipal building approval, any category of registered professional may undertake this work.
However, any work that requires municipal approval whether it involves existing structures, modifications, or unauthorised structures, must be carried out by a registered professional who is competent to perform such work
in terms of the IDoW policy.
