Whereas section19 (2) (b) (i) (ii) of the Architectural Profession Act 44 of 2000 provides that the Council must register a candidate who has satisfied the relevant educational outcomes passed accredited or recognised examinations at any educational institution offering educational programmes in architecture and having passed any other examination that the Council may determine.

The Council has determined the professional practice examination for all registered candidates. In order to administer the examination effectively, SACAP hereby invites all interested architectural lecturers at accredited architectural learning sites to apply as examiners, moderators, and markers.

Application Requirements:

1. Registered professionals and Architecture lecturers at accredited Architectural Learning Sites who have more than five (5) years in practice and/or teaching and training in architecture programs;
2. A letter of motivation (comprising a maximum of one page);
3. An abridged CV (comprising a maximum of three pages) highlighting her/his academic qualifications, professional registrations and memberships, experience in setting examination papers, moderation and marking, and
4. Certified copies of qualifications.
5. Be a registered professional and/or architecture lecturer; and
6. Be in good standing
