The
South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) would like to draw your
attention to the recent Council for Built Environment (CBE) Appeal Committee
decision. Please note that the decision is being referred to the High Court as
prescribed by section 33 (6) (a) of the Architectural Profession Act, which
states that the Council may appeal to the appropriate High Court against any
decision of the CBE concerning disciplinary matters. Therefore, the decision of
the CBE Appeal Committee has no effect until the High Court has decided.
