JOHAN LIEBRANDT WAS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED CONTRAVENTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL PROFESSION ACT


Cape Town, South Africa – The Kensington detectives arrested Johan Liebrandt, a suspect implicated in a case involving the contravention of the Architectural Profession Act. This arrest follows an investigation into Mr. Liebrandt fraudulent use of a registered person's name and registration number.

According to the case details (Kensington Cas 46/07/2023), Mr. Johan Liebrandt was appointed in 2017 to draw and submit architectural drawings to the municipality for approval. He fraudulently used the name of a registered person. As a result, he was arrested on October 13, 2023, during a tracing operation. He appeared before the Cape Town Magistrate Court on the same day. He was granted bail.
