Invitation of 1 candidate to serve on the Remuneration Committee (REMCO)

The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (“SACAP”) is a statutory body established in terms of section 2 of the Architectural Profession Act 44 of 2000. The statutory mandate of SACAP  is to regulate the architectural profession by setting up standards for registration, education and training, professional skills, conduct, performance and ethics; keep a register of candidates and professionals who meet the standards; approve programmes which professionals must complete to register with us at Universities; and take action when professionals on our register do not meet our standards.

Role description

A successful applicant will work with REMCO to monitor and review the development of human resources policies within SACAP. Assist REMCO to oversee, where applicable, the restructuring of existing organisational structures and the establishment and maintenance of a fair, responsible and transparent human resource and remuneration policy in line with SACAP objectives. Assist REMCO to guide the organisation’s human resources practices, succession planning, career pathing, training and development programmes and monitoring of the effectiveness of the implementation of the Employment Equity Plan of the organisation.

Requirements

Persons who believe that they have appropriate skills, expertise and experience, coupled with the passion and drive to add value and contribute to SACAP, are requested to submit their applications to Ms Nandipha Ndabana at Nandipha.Ndabana@sacapsa.com  no later than 31 July 2020.

  • a cover letter (comprising a maximum of two pages) setting out qualification and experience in human resources management;
  • an abridged CV (comprising a maximum of three pages).
