Technical Report Writing

(Name and some background info – bio on the presenter)

Phillip Verwey possesses more than a decade of experience in a technical environment and he has invested years in research and development. For more than seven years he was been involved in the construction environment working with Consolidated Power Projects.

In 2014 he left to start his own company and his extensive

experience, knowledge and skills in the construction industry makes him the ideal Course Leader for this training course. He understands exactly what skills are needed by technical experts to write compelling and persuasive technical reports in order to get their message across.

Phillip says, many technical report writers assume that their writing is meant to be hard to understand. So they fill their reports with complicated and long-winded jargon that is confusing but more importantly boring to the reader. The ability to produce a clear, concise, and professionally presented report is a skill you will need to develop in order to succeed in your career That is why I am excited about being involved with this training course,

because technical report writing shouldn’t be so difficult. This course will show you how to write technical reports that are highly informative and understood the first time they’re read and also how to ensure that you get the results that you want!
