Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD became compulsory for all registered Professionals on 1 January 2010. It is the duty of the registered person to ensure that they are up to date with their CPD requirements. Portfolios must be submitted to SACAP on an annual basis. A grace period of 30 days after the end of the year is granted. After this a penalty may be effected. The table below gives a summary of the minimum annual requirements
