2008/2009 - Renewal of Registrations

We wish to congratulate the 647 Registered Persons who have complied with the Renewal of Registration requirements for the 2008/2009 period.

SACAP will publish a list of Registered Person’s who have complied in the next newsletter.

2010 - Renewal of Registrations
Should you have registered with SACAP in the following years, your registration is due for renewal by 31 December 2010: 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006

The renewal of registration application form is posted via registered mail to Registered Persons due for renewal. The official reminder for 2010 renewals will be sent in the next few weeks. If you are due for renewal and have not received this letter by 15 September 2010, please ensure that you follow up with SACAP. As per the SACAP CPD Conditions, the onus rests on the Registered Person to ensure that they submit their application at least three (3) months before 31 December 2010.

Please ensure that you submit the following:
1. Application form for renewal of registration
2. CPD Portfolio claim form
3. Proof of payment for admin fee (amount stated on application form as fee changes annually)

Registered Persons must have earned the requisite CPD credits in the indicated categories in order to qualify for renewal. Any outstanding annual CPD claim forms will need to be supplied before applying for renewal.

Once you have submitted your application with all the required documentation you will receive a confirmation letter and certificate. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery once submitted. If you have not received a confirmation letter and certificate within this time period, please send an e-mail to cpd@sacapsa.com with the subject line: Registration Certificate

Registered Persons who were due for renewal in 2009 and 2010 who have not complied with the renewal requirements will be removed from the active register.
