Certification

Newly issued certificates are batched and sent by registered mail to registered persons on a quarterly-basis. The letter confirming registration that will be posted to the applicant upon registration, will serve as sufficient proof of registration to enable him/her to practice, i.e. to submit plans to the local authorities.
Duplicate / Replacement Certificates
The following procedure must be followed for the issue of duplicate / replacement certificates:
- The person requiring a certificate, either because he / she did not receive the first one, or because the certificate is damaged / lost, must put his / her request in the form of an Affidavit;
- The Affidavit must also confirm the person’s postal address;
- The original Affidavit must be posted or delivered to SACAP’s offices. Copies may be faxed or e-mailed to initiate the processing procedure; however, no certificate will be issued without an original Affidavit having been submitted.
