RE-REGISTRATION

It is illegal to practice without being registered with SACAP. If registration is suspended or cancelled due to non-payment of fees or for other reasons such as disciplinary issues, the SACAP registration certificate cannot be presented to the municipality or any other member of the public as proof of registration.

In order to retain your professional registration status or ‘Licence to Practice', all SACAP Annual Fees and other fees need to be paid and up to date. Adherence to the Professional Code of Conduct and other relevant legislative prescripts is important.

The following can be arranged with the SACAP Finance Unit.

  1. Establish the outstanding balance and amount owing.
  2. After all outstanding payments have been received in full, the re-registration fee paid and the application for re-registration submitted, SACAP will re-register the person onto the active register.
  3. The re-registration process takes approximately 10 working days after receipt of proof of payment of the outstanding balance and completed re-registration form. Incomplete re-registration forms will result in a delay.

Please note that all communication with the Finance Unit should be via e-mail to accounts1@sacapsa.com; alternately, complete an online enquiry via the CONTACT US section of the SACAP website www.sacapsa.com
