The aim of the workshop is to acquaint architectural professionals and candidates with the requirements of the Constitution other legislation and how to incorporate these requirements into the standard services that they provide to their clients.

Topics that will be discussed include:

• The SA Constitution

• The Architectural Profession Act

• Code of Conduct Board Notice

• CPD Board Notice (2017)

• Compliance with The National Building Regulations (Forms etc)

• Professional – Client Agreements

• Standard Architectural Services vs Additional Services

• OHS Construction Regulations 2014 and the duties of the Designer
